What is an Earworm?
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, an earworm is : a song or melody that keeps repeating in one’s mind.
This idea of a tune or memory that you can’t get out of your head is something that this exposition intends to embody. We aim to create space for creatives to share their personal earworms with the community.
We want to help local photographers enhance their skills and have more opportunities at their disposal. For that reason, we have created this archive of resources available to anyone looking to advance their creative careers!
01 Exhibitions
Every year, we partner with a local business to hold a one-night-only pop-up Earworm Exhibition. This showcase features photographs taken by ATL-based photographers and local musicians. There are nights for the creative community to connect and appreciate each other’s work.

02 Archives
The Earworm Archives are our latest venture. We are gathering together some of our favorite shots from previous shows and from public submissions to put together a quarterly zine. These published works will be distributed digitally both to our email list and included on our website.
03 Opportunities
We know it’s hard to sift through applications. We want to make this process easier, so we’ve pulled together a list of local projects, grants, and opportunities for you to browse. If you see something that fits with your work, apply!
This list is updated quarterly. Please check back to see new items.
Submit your photos!
At Earworm, our mission is to connect photographers across Atlanta and showcase your work to a wider audience. We understand that being a photographer can make it challenging to both promote yourself and take great photos.
That’s why we’re here – to make it easier for you to share your talent and let your photos shine.
